House lawmakers have passed a bill that makes animal cruelty a federal felony.The so- called PACT Act sp <a href=https://www.salomons.com.es>salomon</a> ecifically bans crushing, burning, drowning and impaling animals, among other things.It would also allow officials to go after suspected animal abusers who cross state lines.But according to its co-sponsor, U.S. Rep. LEONARDTOWN, Md. 鈥?A Maryland State Police trooper was involved in a shooting Tuesday, that left a 16-year-old dead.It happened in the 23200 block of Leonard Hall Drive, not far away from the Leonardtown Barrack.The trooper was called to the location for someone possibly armed with a gun.Upon arrival the trooper encountered a teen in the driveway, who wa <a href=https://www.stanleycup.com.se>stanley cup</a> s reportedly armed with a gun and knife. Witnesses told police they saw the teen in a shooting stance , pointing a gun at the trooper. The knife was also recovered.The officer has been placed on administrative leave pending investigation.
