Despite the long drive 14 hours , climbing a wrong pass, a moose in camp, a run-in with a bear and daily rain showers, she enjoyed the Wind Rivers climb to the top of her favorite mountain ranges. Pietra脽 grew up in Bavaria and spent spring and fall vacations hiking in the alps with her parents and skiing in the winters. Her love for the stanley cup outdoors has inspired her many adventures all over the world, including bike touring, climbing, high altitude mountaineering, whitewater canoeing, caving, cave diving, skiing, snowboarding and her current favorite, backpacking.All are welcome to attend Mountaineers meetings, held on the regular fourth Tuesday of the month.
