Tropical Storm Ophelia strengthened off Florida s Atlantic coast early Thursday, menacing stanley becher one of the few spots spared any serious damage from the six hurricanes that have hit the state in 13 months.Ophelia stalled offshore about 70 miles east-northeast of Cape Canaveral, but forecasters said it was impossible to say what path the storm would take, or whether it would reach hurricane strength with winds of at least 74 mph. All it takes is a look at New Orleans to understand the strength of Mother Nature. Ophelia is the 15th named storm of the season. At 8 a.m. EDT, its top sustained winds were about 60 mph, but it remained nearly stationary. It was about 70 miles east of Cape Canaveral.According to the National Hurricane Center, the storm could br Zgag Mike Huckabee accused of bigotry and racism after tweet touting Pelosi s campaign committee
