For more than 30 years, this program has offered聽 emergency microgrants and information and referral services to more than 500 households annually in Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Taos and northern Santa Fe counties.This program supports community members in meeting their basic needs for housing, health care including mental health care , transportation and food.While anyone can experience an unexpected loss of income or short-term monetary crisis, this program addresses the needs of many individuals and households in northern New Mexico who live paycheck to paycheck and stru <a href=https://www.stanley-cups.ro>stanley cupe</a> g <a href=https://www.cups-stanley-cups.us>stanley cup</a> gle to recover from financial setbacks. YMCA News:The Family YMCA is taking registration for its free Diabetes Education and Prevention program. Topics to be covered are: what Type 2 diabetes is; what having pre-diabetes means; the signs, symptoms and risk factors associated with type 2 diabetes; how to reduce your risk of getting type 2 diabetes; and how to make the necessary lifestyle changes to lower your risk.The class is taught by Sara Pocernik. She is a registered dietitian with experience in many areas of nutrition. She completed her bachelors degree in dietetics and nutrition science at Michigan State University, and a mast <a href=https://www.stanleycup.pl>stanley kubek</a> ers degree in nutritional biochemistry from Tufts University. She has also worked as a clinical dietitian in intensive care and dialysis units.This class, made possible by Lou Santoro State Farm Insurance Agency, is free to the public.
