He will receive a one-year, $1,000 scholarship from CMP based on marksmanship participation, grade point average and merit, to stanley france be used toward a pursuit of higher education. CMP staff and board members carefully reviewed hundreds of applications from across the country to determine which exceptional students would receive the scholarships.Out of 256 applications received, 173 were accepted. Seven people escaped unhurt when a large transport plane they were on crash-landed and caught fire at Southern California Santa Barbara Airport, authorities said.
