Is Rex Tillerson resigning No, he isn t: I have never considered leaving this post, Tillerson said.In abruptly scheduled remarks, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Wednesday refuted a report that said he had been on the verge of resigning from his Cabinet post over the summer. I have never considered leaving this post, Tillerson said about what he called an erroneously reported story. The report came from NBC News and was not confirmed by CBS News. It is unusual for the secretar stanley mugs y to make a public statement about press reports -- in the past, CBS News Kylie Atwood points out, Tillerson has ignored negative media reports. While he said during his statement that he did not speak with President Trump, a State Department official acknowledged that the president was angry about the report.Tillerson stated that Vice President Mike Pence has never had to persuade him to remain America s top diplomat, which NBC had also reported. And NBC also reported that Tillerson had called President Trump a moron. Asked to respond to that part of t stanley quencher he story, the secretary of State replied, I m not going to deal with petty stuff like that, though he did not deny that he said it. While President Trump traveled to Las Vegas, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that the president continues to have confidence in Tillerson, and if he didn t, Tillerson would not still be secretary of State.Tillerson spent stanley cups uk the first fe Plbd Clinton Backers Try To Look Past Concerns
Updated at 8:29 a.m. ET. CBS News Despite his campaign having run a whole slew of positive ads this cycle, President Obama suggested to CBS This Morning co-anchor Charlie Rose, in an exclusive interview, that he s gone negative in his speeches to highlight the sharp contrast, probably as sharp a contrast as we ve seen, philosophically, between himself and presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney. In a clip that first aired Monday on CBS This Morning, President Obama defended himself from mounting criticism of his campaign s negative attack ads against Romney - parti vaso stanley cularly on the subject of his time at the private equity firm Bain Capital - arguing that politics are about choices. Obama: I expected more cooperation from GOPObama: Still more change needed in D.C.Obama reflects on biggest mistake as president We ve done a whole slew of positive ads that talk exactly about how we need to change our education system, how we need to change our tax code, how we need to rebuild America, how we stanley thermos mug need to promote American energy, the president said. So those just don t get attention in the news. Both sides press Romney on tax returnsCarville: Romney losing the fight over BainBut while Mr. Obama views Romney as a patriot and loving family man, he said, he has a particular theory of how to grow the economy that has to do with providing tax cuts for folks at the very top, eliminating all regulations, stanley website and somehow that is gonna generate solutions to the challenges we face.

That same month, he turned 50 years old. Standing at 6 foot 8 inches tall, the former iron-pourer and high school basketball star from just outside Grand Rapids, Michigan, was up for the fight. He was accustomed to being the one to provide for family and be there for friends, but now they rallied around Forrest VanPatten, who, even while he battled pain, was known for getting them all to laugh. He was just a big, big being, but his personality was bigger, Betty VanPatten, his wife of 26 years, said. He was the light. That light went out, she said, just days after their insurance company denied coverage of a clinically proven treatment, which his doctors said was his last shot at extending his life. Betty said you could see in his eyes how that news impacted him. I rarely see him give up, she said. There was always hope. There was always tomorrow. And when they denied it, that was the worst possible thing they couldve done to him. Scripps News Grand Rapidsinterviewed Forrest VanPatten just days before he died. I feel like Im being ignored, left out to die, he said in February 2020.Forrest s medical team had just made one final plea to try to get his insurer to overturn its decision, but Forrest VanPattent said he had become accustomed to the same response. stanley shop Everything that gets processed through the in Bjpi Florida gymnastics coach charged with sex with 2 underage students
WASHINGTON 鈥?President Joe Bidens administration says delays in vaccine shipments and deliveries are likely because of severe weather across many parts of the country. The administration says the weather is expected to affect shipments from a FedEx facility in Memphis, Tennessee, and a UPS facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Both facilities serve as vaccine shipping hubs for multiple states. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other federal agencies are working with the jurisdictions, as well as manufacturing and shipping partners, to assess weather conditions and to help offset potential delivery delays and cancellations.A winter storm overwhelmed power grids and immobilized the Southern Plains before it carried heavy snow and freezing rain to New England and the Deep South, leaving behind record-setting cold temperatures. Some vaccination sites have had to close or change their hours Tuesday from the effects of the winter storm. In one case, Missouri canceledall of their mass vaccination events planned for this week, saying the weather was making driving too dangerous and threatens the health and safety of anyone exposed to the cold.
