MILWAUKEE AP 鈥?Jackson Rutledge struck out six in his first major l stanley termoska eague start, Jesse Winker hit his 11th home run and the Washington Nationals beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-2 on Friday night to end a five-game losing streak.Rutledge, Washingtons first-round pick in 2019 who had only pitched one inning during a May 14 doubleheader, held Milwaukee to three hits and two walks over 4 2/3 innings.Robert Garcia 1-3 pitched 1 1/3 innings for the victory, and Kyle Finnegan struck out two in the ninth for his 24th save. It was outstanding, Nationals manager Dave Martinez said about Garcia. He did a good job. His fastball was electric today. He pitched really, really well. The Nationals staked Rutledge to a 1-0 lead in the first inning on Winkers RBI double and added two more in the fourth before the Brewers got on the board with two in the bottom half.Winker got one of those runs back in the fif stanley cup th when he sent a 94.2 mph fastball from right-hander Freddy Peralta 403 feet to right-center. Its great, especially on the road, Winker said. Jackson pitched well, all the guys that came in behind him did great and we made a bunch of great defensive plays. It was a reall stanley mug y good win. Peralta 6-5 surrendered four of Washingtons five runs on 10 hits while striking out six over five innings. Freddy made a few mistakes but generally, I thought he threw the ball good, Brewers manager Pat Murphy said. The NL Central-leading Brewers have dropped two in a row and six of their last eight.TRAINE Rykg Brown Deer PD: Suspect robs bank, takes officers on police chase

MILWAUKEE 鈥?The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is working on reconstructing I-43 from Silver Spring Drive to WIS 60. Part of the construction project is reconstructing interchanges.Out on I-43 at Brown Deer Road the DOT will transform the traditional clover interchange into a Diverging Diamond Interchange DDI . For part of the interchange, drivers will have to drive on the opposite side of the road. Drivers traveling towards the interstate on Brown Deer Road will approach a traffic signal near the edge of the bridge, they will then cross onto the opposite side of the road, then c copo stanley ross back over at another traffic signal located on the opposite end.According to the DOT, Brown Deer Road has a significant amount of traffic making left turns onto the interstate ramps. During the peak hours, an average of 1,100 vehicles are expected to merge onto southbound and 800 vehicles are expected to merge onto northbound I-43 from WIS 100/Brown Deer Road, compared to only 300 through vehicles. If you re trying but failing to reach your doctor through a patient portal, your race may be at play. That s the finding from a new study published inJAMA Network Open, which suggests patients who belong to minority racial and ethnic groups are less likely to receive a response from a physician. Instead, these patients will more likely hear back from nurses, which the study says insinuates a lower prioritization during triaging. Researchers came to this conclusion after examining the patient portal messages of 39,043 Boston Medical Center patients in 2021. After 11 months, their data showed the likelihood of receiving any response stanley cup was similar regardless of race, but it was the type of health care professional responding that differed.Namely, Black patients were nearly 4 percentage points less likely to get a response from an attending physician and about 3 percentage points more likely to hear from a registered nurse, the study shows.
